paper art is under the gauri decoration- paragraph- The ancient tradition of hinduism, bringing ganesha and gauri as been a part of my family since my childhood. and for this, every year we make a piece out of just paper. it is intricately cut to resemble the core aspects and tradition of a place (this one is bali). it represents the place and its essence.
after making a lot of drawings representing Edward Lear’s limerick we decided to make a sculpture. the motion of reaching out to the moon landed us here. out 5th years guiding us throughout the process we built a structure entirely out of bamboo, a scaffolding or sorts, it was a 15 foot tall structure which on climbing feels as if you were reaching out to the moon to observe it
